The Second IAAF CECS Level I Lecturers’ course in Arabic Language was conducted at RDC-Cairo from 19 to 24 July 2008  

16 participants, representing 13 Arabic-speaking Member Federations of RDC-Cairo attended the course.

 The course was held over 6 consecutive days. The course director was Abdel Malek El-Hebil (MAR), Senior Manager in the IAAF Member Services Department supported by Azza Elemary from Egypt.

 The first day was an introduction to the new IAAF Coaches Education and certification System as well as the materials of the New CECS Level I Course and the coaches' evaluation process. In addition the participants saw the kids’ athletics kits and they knew how to deal with the materials during Kids’ Athletics Competition.

The Kids’ Athletics competition was organised on the second day of the course at 6th October Club. There were 48 children (24 boys & 24 girls) participating in the event. They were split into 6 groups, 8 children in each group and each one of them was wearing different colour of T-shirts.

The third and forth days of the course were an introduction to the team competition 13-15, While the fifth and sixth were the theoretical and practical presentations of the new lecturers. In addition to the Workshops that were done by the seniors lecturers during the course.

The accommodation was at Dar El-Haiaa El Handasia Hotel. The distance between the hotel and RDC-Cairo location is only 5 minutes.
