Seminar on Marketing launches today at the
headquarter of the RDC Cairo at Cairo Stadium.
Dr. Hamdi Abdel Rahim has opened his speech by
welcoming Prof. Dr. Helmut Digel (GER
) the
lecturer of the seminar as well as
the participants from 9 MFs which are
JOR, TUN, YEM, KSA, BRN, SUD, SYR, PLE, and EGY.
Dr. Helmut Digel (GER) is an IAAF Council Member
since 1995, Vice Chairman of the IAAF
Marketing/Promotion Commission, Member of the
IAAF Development Commission. He is also a
professor of Sports Sciences at the Universities
of Frankfurt and Tübingen and since 1985 at the
University of Darmstadt and Head of the
Scientific Council of the German Sports
Federation.
Prof. Digel gave an overview of the topics that would
be covered during 4-days seminar for example,
the History of Athletics, the IAAF, Athletics
tomorrow – Challenges, Features of a good
competition, and negative aspects of a
competition.
In addition to, the idea of sponsorship,
how to produce a product, and how to present a
sponsorship proposal.
